What resources are available for USMLE prep?

Answer

AWSOM faculty and library staff have worked hard to assemble tools and resources for students to begin preparation for the USMLE Step 1 exam. These resources are available at no cost to students, so there is no need to seek outside resources for test prep!

Resources available through AWSOM:

  • First Aid Forward
    • First Aid Forward is a highly interactive USMLE test preparation tool featuring engaging quizzes, dynamic learning activities, digital First Aid textbooks, and clinical cases. Integrates with Boards & Beyond. Instructions for institutional access can be found here.
  • Boards & Beyond
    • Boards & Beyond is an interactive learning platform that supplements medical classroom instruction and prepares students for clinical rotations and board exams. It is designed to transition students from theoretical to clinical learning. Instructions for accessing the institutional account can be found here.
  • Thieme MedOne USMLE Resources
    •  Includes a series of eBooks and Learning Modules divided into separate topics that will be covered on the Exams. Test your knowledge with Q & As in each eBook and Review Question banks!
  • Clinical Key Student offers a series of USMLE prep books beginning with Step 1 and advancing through Steps 2 and 3.
  • McGraw-Hill AccessMedicine also features a series of eBooks and Case Studies to assist with Boards prep.
